IMG_8026.JPG

The easiest veggie and healthy snack/bar food/appetizer you’ll ever make in your life.

Blistered shishito peppers are not just super healthy, but jam-packed with smokey flavors and sometimes a surprise. Every 1 in 10 of these can be spicy!

Otherwise, it has a mild sweet, grassy, and peppery flavor. When blistered in high heat, it’s * chef’s kiss *

Prep:

Cook time: 5-6 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag shishito peppers (approx: 15-20 peppers)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • cracked/coarse salt pepper to taste

Recipe:

Heat a wok or skillet on high. Add the olive oil, when it starts to smoke, add in the pepper, crack some salt and pepper. Keep tossing every 30 seconds or so to blister the peppers. You can have it lightly blistered or char it. It’s upto you and how you like it.

Serve fresh off the wok or pan. Served best as finger food for apps, with drinks.
